A Jaguar Christmas Poem

It was a week before Christmas, and all through the gym
The Jags were peaking from Dykhuizen to Crim.
Their record looked good at 7 and 1
The Demons of Greenway the latest undone.

The Ryan’s were hungry, Benn, Zettle and Crane
3 pointers were falling, as easy as rain.
Alex and Joe kept pounding the boards, while Weston
And Josh kept tickling the cords.

Coach Walker looked down his bench and to no one’s surprise,
The players were ready, you could tell by their eyes.
On Benji, on Ryan, on Cort, Randyll and Jake.
Strong moves to the hoop and a proper head fake!

Captains Ryan and Alex were leading this crew,
With confidence and poise as we knew they would do.
That light in the sky, is no simple star.
It’s the smiles we see on every Jaguar!
